At Studio Kenza, we recently had the pleasure of transforming a charming, unused third bedroom into a tailored, deeply personal workspace for one of our clients—an independent, creative woman in her 30s who’s embraced the work-from-home lifestyle post-pandemic.
She came to us with a vision: that spare room, once just a space with an oversized bed gathering dust, needed to become her personal haven. We envisioned an office-meets-wellness retreat, a place where she could dive into her work, find her flow in yoga and meditation, and feel utterly at home.
Inspired by her love of moody, rich tones—think deep greens with pops of color—we curated a palette that feels soulful, grounding and invigorating. We layered in her favorite artworks from Bisa Butler and Kehinde Wiley, bringing in texture, personality, and a touch of her unique story onto the walls.
The result is a space that’s not just functional—ample storage, maximized vertical space, and plenty of natural light—but also a reflection of who she is right now: independent, creative, and ready to be inspired daily. We can’t wait for her to step in and make it her own.
